Computers Falling From the Sky

So today, we dropped computers from the second story. I thought it was really cool to see the different cases and how they protected/didn't protect the computers. I wasn't really surprised to find out how the cases we have now fared, but I was very surprised to see how the red cases did.

When dropped from the second story, bricks ended up killing our black cases. However, when it came to the red case, it didn't damage the case too badly. When both cases were rolled over by the car, the black case did not protect the computer very well, but the red case protected the computer so well that the computer did not even break.

My favorite part of this class was probably when we dropped the laptop off the second story without the case. It was interesting to see how the laptop shattered and which pieces were the first to go.
